Dr. Peter Raphael performs FTM top surgery and metoidioplasty. Dr. Raphael developed the centurion procedure as an alternative to metoidioplasty.
Biography
Dr. Peter Raphael, board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, is a graduate of the University of Dallas. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After Dr. Raphael completed his general surgery training at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, he chose to enhance skills at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, in microsurgery research.
Upon completion of this training, Dr. Raphael accepted a Fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University of Illinois/Cook County Hospital, in Chicago, Illinois. Following Dr. Raphael’s exceptional training, he entered into private practice specializing in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Plano, Texas.
Dr. Raphael has presented at state and national medical meetings on advances in plastic surgical techniques. He is internationally known for his techniques in transgender surgery.
