Packing Tips for female-to-male transsexuals
One of the many factors that helps the FTM to feel “just right” is the use of a packing device to simulate the feel of a male penis or to simply add to their masculine appearance. Packers can be home-made or store bought. Store-bought packers come in a variety sizes, colors, and textures.
There are two different types of packing: packing hard and packing soft.
Types of Packing
Soft packing devices (a.k.a. “packers” for short) add a bulge in the pants and help make FTMs feel more at home in their bodies. Many FtM’s find it necessary to pack in certain environments, such as the gym or locker rooms where the lack of a penis, or for that matter, penis looking-part can be an obvious alert to those with wandering eyes. Generally, what the natural born man has, is what the FTM wants, and so it goes that the packing device was created.
Packers can also aid urinating standing up; many packers are enabled to allow urine to pass through a tube whereas others are made directly for this purpose. The packer enhanced for urinating purposes is called a stand-to-pee device, or “STP” for short.
“Packing-hard” refers to the use of a packing device for sexual play. Oftentimes “packing hard” refers to the use of adult toys, but it may also encompass dual-use packers that are small and malleable enough to wear for general and sexual use. Shopping for packing devices
Soft packers are inexpensive and durable. They can range from $12 to $50, depending on the material. Cyberskin soft-packers are usually under $20, whereas silicone soft-packers may be as much as $50.
prosthetic devices
Realistic packing devices are increasing in popularity. As a result, FTM prosthesis’ are becoming more affordable for the average consumer. FTM prosthesis packers can be remarkably realistic and may even include pumps to resemble an erect penis that can be used for penetrative sex. FTM prosthetics are secured to the pubic region with a medical adhesive.
The devices are tailored to each individual according to their preferences. The manufacturer often allow buyers to choose the length, skin tone, and function of the prosthetics.
Soft Packing to create a male-appearing bulge
The key to successfully packing is to create a realistic-looking bulge that is not too large. Don’t overestimate the size of a flaccid penis, they’re actually quite small. A bulge that is too large may be noticed by others, even to the point where they become aware that you are obviously packing your pants. Don’t let your ego get a hold of you–if you want a large penis, it is better to do that when packing hard for sex, not when going about your daily activities.
erectionphotos.com has a large depository of photographs that show the male anatomy in both its flaccid and erect states. Also, take a look at underwear ads and men on the television to learn how large the average bulge is.
Most men lay their penis to one side or the other in their pants, the penis actually does not lay directly on top of the balls. Also, it is not uncommon for one of the testes to fall back behind the other one, allowing the penis to lay more comfortably to the side.
how-to hold the packer in place
A simple solution is to put the softie in our briefs, which will hold it securely to your body. Alternately, you could wear two pairs of briefs if it is uncomfortable against your skin. Boxers don’t tend to work for the packing man because, well, to put it simply, it’s not fun to have a rubber cock fall on the floor, and if you happen to be in a men’s room, this can be disastrous. There are a bunch of products out there to support the soft packs, and some of these can be great for the guy who really wants control.
cleaning and maintenance
It is important to clean a soft pack daily with soap and water. Do not boil any packers other than the silicone ones. Cyberskin products that are not used for penetration should be brushed with corn starch to make them less sticky. Only use corn starch; baby powder has been linked to cervical cancer. Ensure that the packer is completely dry before applying the powder, otherwise the powder will become gunky.
To apply the powder, it’s advisable to use a cheap powder brush (not an eyeshadow brush). If you dunk the softie into the cornstarch you’re going to end up having white powder everywhere, and not only that, but there is too much on it–the cornstarch will rub off on your underwear, pants, and skin. Word for the wise: don’t wipe your hands off on black pants…
Home-made soft packers
The Simple Sock
If you’re heading somewhere where you don’t want to take your soft pack, say, your parents house and the need comes along to have your cock, pull out a sock, fold it in two and stuff the longer end in the opening of the sock. Yes, it is very simple, but effective for the purpose of creating a bulge.
How to make a home-made packer with gel and a condom
A relatively cheap make-shift packer can be home-made with a gel and a condom. However, due to the fragility of the materials, the packer is likely to suffer a puncture or a tear. This is an experimental and temporary method.
Materials
1. 6-7 unlubricated condoms
2. Hair Gel or Gak
Instructions
1. Fill the condom about 3/4 full with the Hair Gel or Gak (gak can be homemade with borax)
2. Tie the condom at the top
3. Insert the gak filled condom into another condom. This can be done twice if preferred.
4. Create two smaller “balls” by only filling each condom 1/4 or 1/2 full.
5. Bag them each in a condom
6. Tie it all together
Generally, the gak has a more realistic feel than the hair gel because it is quite a bit thicker. Avoid the mess and embarrassment of a puncture by checking the home-made gel packer for signs of wear and tear.
Home-made cloth packers
Some websites sell homemade cloth packers, but it is advisable to invest in a Cyberskin or silicone packer. Cloth packers absorb skin oils and sweat, which is less sanitary. Cloth packers are also more difficult to clean and more likely to stain. However, cloth packers may be more comfortable for short-term use because they do not tend to become sticky, although they may chafe the delicate tissue in the genital region.
Home-Made Elastic Strap for a soft packer
Materials
1 Pair of Boxers or underwear with large elastic band
1 Pair Scissors
Instructions
1. Cut a small half inch hole in the middle of the elastic
2. Cut the cloth from around the boxers, but leave about 8 inches of length (2 inches wide) coming down from where the softie will hang
3. Place the penis part of the softie through the hole
4. Pull the long piece up, over the balls, and through the hole just under the softie
